Biography
Carrie Thiessen, MD, PhD completed her residency in General Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital and is continuing her training as a clinical fellow in Abdominal Transplant Surgery at UCSF. She has a PhD in health policy and ethics from Harvard University. Dr. Thiessen's research combines normative and empirical methods to explore ethical issues in transplantation and living donation.
