Biography
Justin Parekh, M.D. completed his undergraduate education at Stanford University where he obtained degrees in Biological Sciences and Economics. After graduating from Stanford, Dr. Parekh worked in healthcare consulting for one year and then moved on to medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his general surgery residency at UCSF where he would later serve as an attending on the emergency and general surgery service. During his residency, Dr. Parekh obtained his Master's degree in clinical research and has put this expertise to use studying transplant outcomes with a focus on the impact of diabetes on graft function and patient survival.
